In The Walking Dead: Dead Reckoning, there is a small amount of user choice where you can decide different actions that affect the outcome of the comic. Most of the app is linear, meaning you just flip through pages reading different events. It is an interesting, but short, experience.
The comic does expand on the universe of The Walking Dead, both in the actual comic and the television show. The problem with The Walking Dead: Dead Reckoning is that the app contains a lot of lag when moving from page to page. It does not animate smoothly and sometimes does not register when you press the touchscreen. It is a small annoyance, but the app sometimes tells you to press an area that it does not register.
The Walking Dead: Dead Reckoning is a fun app, but has short replayability.
